Vanadi is Out In Space, being a dirt poor hobo, scudding from port to port and barely making enough cooking to get by. He gets tangled up in a rebel/alliance sort of skirmish ... the "decepticons" were named as an insult, but wear it like a badge. The "autobots" have learned their organization is a bunch of bullshit but are fighting to redeem it and bring glory back to the name (bit of Sturm knighthood in there). A lot of it is the omnic struggle, inorganic, manufactured beings fighting to be recognized as equal. Vanadi is the incredibly reluctant hero, who his robot pals eventually upgrade to be less shitty. Could involve ...

The ship is attacked by pirates; he saves himself in the escape pod, which malfunctions before it actually escapes. The "this is technology, bring it home" bot picks up on his metal bits. It tries to drag him into non-atmosphere until The Dog finds this and saves him. The pirates would kill him, but Dog assures them that this guy is his organic manservant. They bring Dog and Vanadi along planning to ransom them or something, and Dog instigates an escape when they dock in New Adapo. There Vanandi runs into Pyran and Venus 2.0 who are just livin their lives, man.

- The ants are by now a frequently marauding force with the ability to get in and get out/go somewhere no one can find them.
- SOMEONE has to hate the robots, a religious sect gaining power?

- Pyran (with venus 2.0?)
- Ramir, Space Mafia Boss, with Riley
- Ashraf, Zenyatta guy with ability to heal organics?
- Savio, somehow

called City of Dis?

Jackal: he found some kind of Scifi Power Converter which can rapidly increase cellular healing capability for a short period of time. Each use takes a super expensive power cell which he will eventually learn to recharge (it will take a month, then a week, then a day as he grows more skilled) which at first he has to completely replace/buy a new one. He had to be inorganic to operate it because organic flesh isn't up to withstanding the radiation it produces, and it takes too much fine detail to be left to an AI program.
